ACTIVITIES OVERVIEW
Archer Daniels Midland Company is an agricultural processor with most significance interests in the production of protein meal, vegetable oil, ethanol, cocoa products and wheat flour.
The Company operates through three reportable business segments:-
. Oilseeds Processing: processing of oilseeds including soybeans, cottonseed, sunflower seeds, canola, peanuts and flaxseed into vegetable oils and meals principally for the food and feed industries.
. Corn Processing: wet milling and dry milling corn operations with products used in the food and beverage industry include syrup, starch, glucose, dextrose and sweeteners.
. Agricultural Services: uses the Company's grain elevator and transportation network to buy, store, clean and transport agricultural commodities, such as oilseeds, corn, wheat, milo, oats and barley and resell these commodities primarily as feed ingredients and as raw materials for the agricultural processing industry.
