Unilever NV (NV) is a public limited company registered in the Netherlands and Unilever plc (PLC) is a public limited company registered in England. The two parent companies, NV and PLC, together with their group companies, operate as nearly as is practicable as a single entity (the Unilever Group, also referred to as Unilever). NV and PLC and their group companies constitute a single group under Netherlands and United Kingdom legislation for the purposes of presenting consolidated accounts. Unilever is one of the world�s largest suppliers of consumer goods across foods, home and personal product categories. The Company's operations are currently organised into two global divisions � Foods and Home and Personal Care. The Company operates though three business segments, further sub-divided on the basis of product categories as follows:- � Foods: Savoury and dressings � sales of soups, bouillons, sauces, snacks, mayonnaise, salad dressings and olive oil. � Spreads and cooking products � sales of branded margarines and spreads and cooking products including liquid margarines. Beverages � sales of tea, weight management products and nutritionally enhanced staples sold in developing markets. Ice cream and frozen foods � sales of ice cream and frozen food. � Home and Personal Care: Home care � sales of home care products, such as laundry powders and liquids and a wide range of cleaning products. Personal care � sales of skin care and hair care products, deodorants and antiperspirants, oral care products and a range of prestige fragrances. � Other Operations: ownership and management of tea plantations and palm oil plantations to support our the Company's consumer brands
